Create your Categories 

 

(This section applies only to Premium Templates.  *Exceptions - Edna Valley and Grover Beach are standard templates but support Categories.

 

Categories are essentially a visual way of organizing your galleries. A category can contain one or more galleries and a gallery will display one or more images.

 

So, categories are for compartmentalizing your galleries. you do not add images to categories. you will add images to galleries later.

category names would be general in nature– allowing more specific names to be added to galleries later. you will need to first create a category that you plan to compartmentalize galleries within. see the graphic below.

 

 

Make a New Category

 

Click on Create new Category, type in the name of your new category. Click save. Repeat until you have all your categories in place. You can always come back and add more categories.
